What is involved in the treatment?
Dermal fillers are administered by our fully-qualified and trained practitioners in order to help treat areas of the face that could benefit from touch-ups. The practitioners who administer synthetic fillers of this nature have gone through the relevant training courses making the treatment completely safe to undergo. The filler itself will have a very smooth consistency – unlike other granular hyaluronic gel products that are used – which will give a patient the best facial corrections possible. This provides patients with optimal skin smoothing, lifting and tightening.
What products are used?
At Synergy Dental, our practitioners use a range of different products that can either be chosen by the patient or professionally recommended. Primarily we use a safe Juvederm treatment, but the patients will be given other types of dermal filler treatments to choose from as well. The products used by Synergy will always be semi-permanent (lasting anywhere from 9 months to a year) which can be a huge advantage for those unsure about committing fulling a new facial aesthetic.
How is the procedure done?
The treatment itself is very simple to achieve when in the hands of a professional. It is administered through a series of small injections into the areas that the patient has specified. This usually causes little to no pain, but any discomfort will be minimised with the help of local anaesthetic which can be administered with an injection or cream-based anaesthetic. It should take no longer than 30 minutes for the whole procedure to be completed, although this will vary depending on how many areas are being treated during the session.
There is little recovery for dermal injection, but we recommend patients take it easy for the first 24 hours after the treatment session. Expect some mild swelling, soreness, and redness during this rest period. These side effects should decline over 24 to 48 hours.
Who will benefit the most from the treatment?
The treatment can be for anyone who may be unhappy with how their face has aged over the year. It can be very helpful for those people who express a lot of concern about how much they’ve aged in specific areas of the face. The mild and quick procedure is excellent for people who want to make these facial changed but are unwilling to go through permanent reconstructive surgery.
