What is anti-wrinkle treatment?
Anti-wrinkle treatment is a simple, cosmetic procedure used to efficiently get rid of aged skin and wrinkles. The treatment is available in order to achieve long-lasting (but not permeant) re-touches that are aimed at tightening, lifting, and skin smooth in certain areas of the face.
Like with every procedure we undergo, a full overview of the treatment will first be discussed between you and one of our fully-qualified facial aesthetic practitioners. This way, you will have a full rundown of all the advantages, disadvantages, and what the procedure will involve.
Who would benefit the most from the treatment?
Our anti-wrinkle treatment can be used on anyone who feels significantly conscious of how their face is ageing. Due to a variety of factors, our faces will age over time, and sometimes this can be a quicker process than for other people. Particularly, those who appear to have visible crow’s feet and frown lines can benefit significantly from this kind of treatment.
The products used by our practitioners are completely safe and of the highest quality to ensure the skin will be left as smooth as possible. For those patients who are concerned if they will be happy with the results, nothing used during this procedure will be permeant, as synthetic fillers will require retouching overtime to maintain the results. Although, the treatment will last upwards for 8-9 months, so we recommend being completely sure before undergoing the procedure.
How is the procedure done?
It should take no longer than 30 minutes for the whole procedure to be completed, although this will vary depending on how many areas are being treated during the session. The procedure will consist of a series of small injections in specified areas of the face. It is unlikely any pain will be felt, but our practitioners can administer local anaesthetic to numb to areas if required.
There is little recovery for dermal injection, but we recommend patients take it easy for the first 24 hours after the treatment session. Expect some mild swelling, soreness, and redness during this rest period. These side effects should decline over 24 to 48 hours.
