Dr. Zara Ashraf
Dr. Zara Ashraf is one of our most highly qualified Synergy dentists. Earning her BDS in 2017 from the University of Liverpool, she has since undertaken multiple qualifications including a master’s course in implantology.
As a dental surgeon, Dr. Ashraf is a Senior House Officer in oral maxillofacial surgery. She has a special interest in oral surgery and surgical wisdom tooth extraction. She is especially adept at implantology and is passionate about transforming lives and smiles through single unit implants, multi-unit implants, and full-arch same-day implant treatments.
Oral surgery is naturally quite daunting to many patients. In order to help patients through any anxiety before surgery, she offers gentle reassurance and helps patients to gradually acclimatise to the surgery environment by taking it step by step. She also offers IV sedation, allowing patients to experience no pain whilst remaining conscious.
Outside of the dental clinic, Zara enjoys world travel and has visited large portions of the Middle East, the USA, North Africa and most of Europe. She is also a strong supporter of charitable causes and has participated in multiple charity runs to raise money for the ongoing conflict in Palestine.
On weekends you can usually find her playing for her 5-a-side football team preparing for the FA women’s tournament and powerleague. She also enjoys padel and tennis.
Calm and down to earth, Zara makes every dental visit as relaxing as a spa trip (well, almost).
