Dr. Wasif Jamil
Dr Wasif Jamil is an extremely highly experienced Oral Surgeon. He was born in Dubai and moved to the UK to study at the Eastman Dental Institute in London where he earned not one, but two master’s level degrees! He holds an MSc in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and an MSc in Implantology. He has over 7 years of experience in this field, and is also a Tier 2 Specialist led Oral Surgery Practitioner. He has also undertaken training in IV Sedation – a practice that helps anxious patients by inducing a relaxed state and reducing pain whist remaining conscious. He does not practice general dentistry, and he wanted to focus all his attention on developing his oral surgery skills – as such, he exclusively practices oral surgery and is one of the best in the business.
Dr Wasif is especially adept at all things involving implant dentistry and is capable of handling complex cases requiring hard and soft tissue augmentation, sinus grafting, and immediate loading. He is passionate about transforming lives through dental implants, using their capacity to restore a more natural form and function to patient smiles.
He defines himself as a peripatetic oral surgeon – meaning he offers his services at other practices so as many patients as possible can benefit from his wealth of experience.
Outside of work, Wasif enjoys spending time in nature taking his children out for walks, keeping active at the gym, or relaxing with a good book. He also likes playing cricket, badminton, and tennis.
