Dr. Yasir Rahman
Dr. Yasir Rahman is one of our Dentists at Synergy Burnley. He holds a BDS which he studied for in Manchester.
Yasir can help patients with many areas of aesthetic dentistry including smile design, Invisalign and composite bonding. He also has an interest in endodontics, which is the study of the soft tissue within the tooth – in other words, root canal treatment!
Though root canal is often scary, Yasir makes it easy for patients by building a rapport and gaining their trust. Gentle care, time and patience is the key to keeping patients calm for all treatments, even when they’re told they have to come in for the dreaded root canal.
Dr. Yasir is an accomplished dentist. He won best dental team at the 2010 Dentistry Awards – one of the most prestigious awards in the UK aimed at recognising excellence in the dental field. He was also shortlisted for our own internal awards for Best Dentist in Synergy in 2023 after only having been with us for 9 months!
Yasir likes to keep active through strength training and boxing, though he also has some more unusual hobbies…
After a busy day, you’ll usually find him out on a motorbike ride or out target shooting!
Yasir is a family man, and he spends whatever spare time he has with his granddaughter. He also loves animals and has an aquarium of fish he cares for. He would like a dog, but he is waiting to retire so he can give it all the love, care, and commitment a dog needs.
He is a kind, caring and dependable person. He dedicates a large portion of his time to charity work. He volunteers at his local food bank, and helps to feed the homeless. He also works to support victims of crime within the community.
Yasir’s dream is to one day run an emergency dental clinic that provides out of hours access for all as well as care for unregistered patients.
