Dr Mahmoud Farag is a dental surgeon with a strong clinical and academic interest in implant dentistry and surgical planning. Since qualifying in 2012, he has undertaken extensive postgraduate education and currently serves as a faculty member with the Faculty of Surgeons Edinburgh.
He completed a Master’s degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol, focusing on evidence-based surgical protocols designed to optimise outcomes in implant rehabilitation. Mahmoud also practices Conscious Sedation, enabling safe and comfortable delivery of care for patients requiring surgical intervention.
He has a particular interest in guided implant surgery and the utilisation of surgical guides to achieve high levels of precision and predictability. Outside of clinical practice, Mahmoud enjoys swimming and competitive squash.
