Dentist crowns clinic growth

Synergy Dental Clinic was set up in 2007 by Bolton-based Dr Zuber Bagasi as a single clinic in Blackpool.
It has grown to a group of five clinics with sites in Blackburn Road, Bolton, Bury, Paisley near Glasgow, and Birmingham.

It has 32 staff and prides itself in its training and development.

The firm also serves patients in boarding schools and care homes, treating young and old privately and through the NHS.

It offers routine and advanced dental work along with other services including Botox treatment.

The financial performance is growing stronger each year with increased turnover and profitability, a strong balance sheet, asset value and successful cash flow.

Dr Bagasi has also pioneered a Joint Venture Partnership project which he says is unique in dentistry and will allow the business to grow further in the next few years.

Further clinics are due to open and the firm is expanding its central management team in Bolton.

Dr Bagasi has a leading role in the UK dentistry profession with organisations including the Association of Dental Implantology and has enjoyed success and commendations in schemes including the Dentistry Awards, What Clinic Customers Service Awards and the British Dental Association Good Practice Awards.

Synergy is also a Vocational Trainer for the North West NHS Deanery and Dr Bagasi said is proud of the firm’s entrepreneurial and academic achievements.

Dr Bagasi said: “I am really honoured to have been shortlisted in this category and for the firm to be recognised as one of the area’s best businesses and service providers.

“We’ll be booking a table and bringing our staff to the awards ceremony, which should be a really interesting night. We are all looking forward to it.”
