Synergy Help Save Zoe’s Place

On 7th October, Zoe’s Place – a hospice in Liverpool that provides palliative and end-of-life care for babies and children under the age of 5 – got the news they would soon have to close their doors for good unless theft could raise sufficient funds to finance a new building in just one month.

Since then, the community of Liverpool has joined together to gather the money needed to rescue Zoe’s Place, allowing them to continue their vital work.

Major newspaper, The Liverpool Echo have spearheaded the campaign to rescue Zoe’s place from closure.

Zoe’s Place has been backed by local celebrities, including comedians, boxers, olympic athletes, and even Steven Gerrard – but the biggest boost to the campaign came from retail giant TJ Morris, the Liverpool-based owners of HomeBargains who pledged 2.5m to the cause.

Seeing the local community band together, our Liverpool practice wanted to help any way we could.

With just 2 days left for Zoe’s place to raise £490,000 to reach their funding goals, we decided to donate all profits from teeth whitening treatments and new patient exams towards Zoe’s place.

Using the code ‘ZOESPLACE’ at reception when booking in, patients can help us save Zoe’s Place.

UPDATE:

Zoe’s Place have since reached 100% of their funding goals, but their Just Giving page remains open for donations. Any extra money outside of their funding goals will still go towards helping Zoe’s Place continue their work supporting terminally-ill children and their families.

We are extremely proud to have done our bit towards helping the people of Liverpool rescue this staple of the local community.
