A new state-of-the-art headquarters and flagship clinic for a Bolton-based dental group has been officially launched.
The Synergy Dental Group was established in 2007 under CEO Dr Zuber Bagasi and has since grown significantly across the North West with clinics including Bolton and Bury.
The new premises, just off Blackburn Road near Total Fitness gym, include the newly-launched Syntrain International Academy training centre and new dental laboratory Luxe Dental – the UK’s first Straumann Centre of Excellence.
The then Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Andy Morgan, performed the opening ceremony with VIP guests from the dental industry present including Dr Anil Shrestha from London’s Harley Street.
The Syntrain International Academy represents a bold new direction in dental education.
The advanced training hub features a cutting-edge Education Centre, now recognized as a Greater Manchester University-approved campus, including a Phantom Head Skills’ lab, lecture theatre and live operating surgeries.
It will offer both diploma and MSc dental programs in collaboration with the University of Greater Manchester as well as well-known institutions including the City of London Dental School, Smile Dental Academy, Perio School (MSc programs) and Phoenix Dental Academy (for Overseas Registration Examination Training courses.)
Dr Bagasi said: “This new HQ, clinic and lab represent the evolution of Synergy Dental Group.
“It’s more than just a building – it’s a vision brought to life. We are proud to be pioneering change across clinical care, education and dental technology – all from right here in Bolton.”
The strength of Synergy’s new integrated dental system means that traditional treatments like veneers, crowns and implants – usually requiring multiple appointments – can now be dealt with in one place to give “teeth-in-a-day.”
