Two members of a Bury dental practice have been shortlisted for a national award.
They are both from the Synergy Dental Clinic in Tenterden Street. Dr Imran Chhadat has been nominated for Best Young Dentist in the 2011 Dentistry Awards, and Head Nurse Hafiza Patel has been shortlisted for the Best Outstanding Team Member Award.
The prestigious awards event will be held in Leicester on December 5.
Dr Chhadat, aged 27, has been with Synergy Dental under the supervision of clinical director Dr Zuber Bagasi since leaving Liverpool University. He is now head dentist at the local clinic where he specialises in restorative cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and anti-wrinkle treatments.
Hafiza Patel joined Synergy as a trainee dental nurse and, through hard work and going the extra mile, worked her way up to the head nurse position and is now a qualified and CDC registered dental nurse.
Synergy is no stranger to accolades – Dr Bagasi has been a regular in national dental awards, and has been Highly Commended in the Bolton and Bury Business Awards.
