A Bury dentist is in line for one of his industry’s “Oscars” at a glittering ceremony tomorrow.
Dr Zuber Bagasi, pictured, clinical director of the Synergy Dental Clinic in Tenterden Street, as well as two others in Bolton, has been shortlisted for Young Dentist of the Year.
The Dental Awards recognise national and regional excellence, and Synergy’s group practices are also shortlisted for the Best Team of the Year award at the event to be held at London’s Lancaster Hotel.
Last year, the 32-year-old was shortlisted in the British Dental Association awards, and won highly commended in the Business Person of the Year category of the Bolton and Bury Business Awards.
He said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted in The Dental Awards. Synergy has achieved so much over the past 12 months and being honoured at this prestigious event shows we are getting recognition within the dental world.
