My teeth are stained, will a Scale and Polish remove this?

Stubborn tooth stains such as those caused by tobacco/ red wine etc may not be cleaned using the scale & Polish alone. Professional whitening would be strongly recommended for this purpose. Please ask your dentist for further advice.
